Shipping policy

We are a studio in Atlanta, Georgia. Orders are picked, packed and shipped for us by Amazon's fulfilment network.

Where we ship

The contiguous 48 states and Washington DC. That is where our fulfilment network reaches at a sensible cost, and it is the honest answer rather than a promise we would rather not keep.

That means we do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands or any other US territory. We also cannot deliver to PO boxes, or to APO and FPO addresses — please give us a street address.

If you are in one of those places and you want a stand, write to us anyway. We will quote you honestly for what it actually costs to get one there, and you can decide.

If you are outside the US and want a stand or a mount, email us at neil@noboxmfg.com and we will sort something out directly. We are a small studio and a handful of overseas orders a year does not justify a standing international rate, but we would rather arrange it by hand than turn you away.

The DIY files are a download and have no shipping at all — see Digital products below. Those we can sell anywhere.

What it costs

Standard shipping is free on every order we ship. There is no minimum. That includes a single $99 wall mount as much as it does a $250 pair of stands.

Prices on the site are in US dollars and do not include sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on where the order is going.

How long it takes

Two things happen after you order: we pack it and hand it to a carrier, then the carrier brings it to you. They are separate, and it is worth seeing them separately.

Stage Typically takes
We pack it and hand it to a carrier Same or next business day
The carrier brings it to you About three business days
Order to your door About three to five business days

Orders are packed and dispatched the next business day at the latest, and sometimes within hours of you ordering.

Our fulfilment network works seven days a week, weekends included. A Saturday or a Sunday in the middle does not automatically add days to your order — so a weekend order often moves sooner than the business-day figures above suggest.

Orders are picked, packed and carried by Amazon's fulfilment network, which is how a three-person studio gets you a parcel as quickly as a much larger company can.

These are typical times, not guarantees. Distance matters — the far side of the country takes longer than the next state — and weather, holidays and the carrier's own backlog all move the number. We would rather quote you a range we actually hit than a single day we miss.

The carrier is assigned at dispatch — normally Amazon Logistics or USPS — so the tracking link in your shipping email may point at either one. Which carrier you get is decided by the network, not by us, and it is not something you can choose at checkout.

We do not offer a paid faster option. Standard is the only speed, and it is free.

You will get a confirmation email when you order and a second email with tracking when it ships. If the tracking email has not arrived and it has been longer than the dispatch window above, check your spam folder first, then email us.

A tracking number is created when your parcel is labelled, which can be up to a day before the carrier physically collects it. So a number that exists but shows no movement yet is normal on the first day — it is not a lost parcel.

Digital products

The DIY stand files are STL files you print yourself. Nothing physical ships. Your download link is emailed to you once payment clears, usually within a few minutes. If it has not arrived within an hour, check spam and then email us — we can re-send it.

You will need a 3D printer, a slicer, and the PVC pipe and hardware listed on the product page. We do not supply those.

If something goes wrong

Damaged in transit. These are steel objects in a box and they arrive intact almost every time — but if yours does not, call or email us within a week of delivery, send photographs of the damage and of the packaging it came in, and we will arrange a replacement. Keep the box. You will not be asked to pay to return a broken one.

The week is so we can claim against the carrier while the trail is warm, not a trapdoor. If you find the damage later than that, tell us anyway — we would rather replace a broken stand than win an argument about timing.

Lost in transit. If tracking has stopped moving for several days, or says delivered and nothing arrived, tell us. We will open a claim with the carrier and follow it through. You do not have to deal with the carrier yourself.

Wrong or incomplete address. We ship to the address entered at checkout. If it is wrong, email us straight away — before dispatch we can usually change it. Once it has shipped we cannot. If a parcel comes back to us as undeliverable, we will get in touch and send it out again to a corrected address at no extra charge.
